  The Greek Section was founded in 1998 with a collaboration between the University and the Greek government (Greek Embassy in Amman & Greek Ministry of Education) which led to a formal agreement. For the time being no certificates are awarded and only language courses are offered. During the first three years of its operation the Section organized seminars, lectures, exhibitions, etc. and its prospects for further development are strong.
  Courses: Modern Greek I, Modern Greek II, Modern Greek III, Introduction to Ancient Greek.
  A library of about 200 volumes is available.
