    Modern Greek is an obligatory subject for the Department of Russian Language & Literature which was founded in 2000 and was originally named Department of Slavic and Balkan Studies.
    The Department is cooperating with the University of Athens for the exchange of students and faculty.
    Faculty: Athanassios Bintas, Tamara Kostits-Pahnoglou, Dimosthenis Stratigopoulos (appointed by the Greek Ministry of Education).
