It is the information expressed by a speaker which turns out that at least part of it was known to the co-speaker as well. E.g. You know, Takis, the bus was late yesterday. It is inferred that Takis knew about the bus (Perhaps he was waiting for something or someone on it).

The linguistic variety used in education, in administration and in the mass media and is spoken in the cities by educated people of the middle class.
