The Greek dialectical situation is presented through a general text and other more specialized texts describing individual dialects. Also provided are texts which touch upon questions involving Greek dialectology and pertinent bibliography. The project is complemented by phonetic material, dialect texts from various genres, and useful web links. The project’s aim is to contribute to supporting the dialects through focusing upon them, in an era when these are receding in response to pressure from the Standard Modern Greek.
