Introductory Note

A database containing a great number of aids (Greek and non-Greek, print and electronic) to the study of Ancient Greek; the most important of these are presented together with a critical commentary. They include:

• Methods for teaching/learning Ancient Greek

• Studies on the Ancient Greek Language and Literature
• Studies on the Teaching of Ancient Greek Language and Literature

• Studies on the Translation of Ancient Greek

These presentations are aiming to orient the user to select the appropriate handbook in each case, which will assist him/her in the specific purpose required, as well as provide food for fruitful thought
