Program: Greek Language & Culture

In brief: CELT Athens is an educational center for foreign language teachers. Its chief aim is to improve the quality of foreign language teaching with a commitment to continuing education.

Target group: The program in Greek language and culture is addressed to adult foreigners wishing to improve their Greek. Students include:

• (a) business people and professionals who need specific terminology, and
• (b) foreigners in Greece who need to develop everyday communication skills.

Courses of study:

The Centre offers courses at all proficiency levels, depending on the needs of the students. Its courses are organized as follows:

• a) beginning (level A),
• b) intermediate I & II (levels B & C), and
• c) advanced I & II (levels D1 & D2)

The length of courses ranges from 2 weeks to 1 year. Intensive classes are offered during the summer, lasting 1 or 3 weeks.
