University of the Aegean

Teaching of the Greek Language. School of Social Sciences

In brief: Since 2004, the School of Social Sciences of the University of the Aegean has organized courses for the teaching of Greek as a foreign language. The lessons are offered throughout the academic year, and cover the following proficiency levels: a) beginner, b) intermediate, and c) advanced. The School offers certificates of attendance and prepares students to take part in the Centre for the Greek Language’s examinations for the Certificate of Attainment in Greek.
Programs of Study

  • Year-Long Course: 10 October – 31 May (beginning, intermediate and advanced levels)
  • Winter Term: 10 October – 10 February (beginning, intermediate and advanced levels)
  • Spring Term: 20 February – 20 June (beginning, intermediate and advanced levels)
