Correspondence between the levels of the GCL Greek language attainment certificate and the attainment levels of other certificates (GCSE,GCE etc)

This correspondence/ comparison is useful for those who hold one or another certification of attainment in Modern Greek and would like to take part in the examinations of attainment offered by the Centre. It offers a comparison of the full programs and levels for Certification of Attainment in Modern Greek with those of examinations such as the GSCE, GCE and others. Following a brief description of the analytical examination program “Certification of Attainment in Modern Greek” and those of other bodies involved in comparison and correspondence with this certification, the characteristic features of each certification are offered by way of comparison (language functions, communicative situations, linguistic structures- morphology, syntax-exercise types). Finally, we note the results that have emerged from the comparison among these, presenting the similarities and differences as regards structure, orientation, and difficulty of each level with the corresponding details for the Centre’s Certification of Attainment in Greek.
