    The Language Centre of the University of Tartu is an academic unit within the Faculty of Philosophy. The main function consists in providing language courses for general and specific purposes at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
    The Centre was founded in 1991. It has five divisions: English, German and French, Russian, Estonian, Eurasian.
    The main languages taught at the Centre include English, German, Russian, French, Latin, and Estonian. The Centre also runs courses in Japanese, Turkish, Italian, Swedish, Spanish, Chinese, Ukrainian, Latvian, Lithuanian, and Modern Greek.
