Fax: + 33 2 99 14 16 05The Languages Department (Multi-Langues) offers language courses (English, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Modern Greek). The Modern Greek section was founded in 1989 and is the only established Modern Greek Chair in Bretagne. Special emphasis is placed on the teaching of the culture and history of these countries.
All students may study one of these languages regardless of their main field of study. They may study the language at beginners’ or intermediate level or even study the history and culture of a country. Modern Greek is also offered in the FLE (French language teaching) department for a semester. It is an introductory course in comparative linguistics and is offered to students who will work as teachers of French as a foreign language.
After three years of study a Diploma is awarded (Diplôme d'Etudes en Langues).
