story of the game

History of the game:

The idea for the Diversonopoly project was first developed within the framework of a Grundtvig contact seminar in Toulouse, in November 2007. We (all partners) met there and decided to go on with the original idea of forming an intercultural board game that would serve foreign language learning classes and any intercultural setting as an ice-breaker and as a playful yet useful ground for intercultural communication.

The person who came up with the idea was Mrs Kerstin Liedtke who then contacted Mr Thomas Vondrak and formulated the concept of the board game.
